Harvesting and Stumpage
Stumpage is the fee that individuals and firms are required to pay the government when they harvest Crown timber in British Columbia. Crown log production and direct stumpage (excludes other taxes and fees) is identified for Coast and Interior Forest Regions. Log production from private land is also identified. The log harvest and stumpage values are from Ministry of Forest billing reports. Log harvest and stumpage values for the current year are CoastForest forecasts.
