   Wood is understated as being as the one of the best choices of building materials. It is renewable, sustainable, environmental friendly, cost effective, safe, and strong. In order to develop a “Build with Wood Culture” both the Provincial and Federal Governments are partnered with industry to expand the use of wood products in the commercial and institutional building sector. In a program called Wood Works! seminars and programs for architects, designers and building code officials are held to increase people’s exposure to a new wood culture. The attached Media Presentation provides an overview of the Wood Works! program and showcases BC wood in commercial and institutional buildings.
