Coast Forest Products Association’s CEO Rick Jeffery and a group of industry’s leading forest company executives have joined Premier Gordon Campbell in Toyko on a trade mission that includes a stop at the legendary Japan Home and Building Show. The group of forest industry executives is meeting with customers and strengthening relationships at an opportune time, a time when Japan’s housing surge is boosting B.C. lumber exports. Participating executives are: Reynold Hert of Western Forest Products; Tom Jones and Mike Friesen of the Teal Jones Group; John Kelvin and Paul McElligott of TimberWest; and Ric Slaco of Interfor.
