Mr. Caron took time out of his busy schedule to meet with Coast Forest Products Association President Rick Jeffery to affirm that forest products is one of the embassy's highest priorities in Japan. The two met to discuss ways in which the embassy could assist in marketing coastal products in Japan. Initial results of the launch have been very promising with customers' interest in the product clearly high.
