#BCTECH Summit – A Great Opportunity for Forestry

B.C.’s biggest ever tech summit is coming up January 18th and 19th at the Vancouver Convention Centre – and FPInnovations will be there!

FPInnovations will be showcasing the tech ingenuity of forestry at this first ever summit! Bringing together investors, industry, government, researchers, government and members of the public, #BCTECH Summit will showcase B.C.’s vibrant tech industry, build opportunities and encourage all industries to gain a competitive advantage by further connecting to our growing tech sector.

FPInnovations’ work in research, technology and innovation will be displayed at the #BCTECH Summit Technology Showcase, along with the latest BC tech inventions.

Tall Wood Building Design Workshop

You are cordially invited to the NEWBuildS Workshop 2014 and the Tall Wood Building Design Workshop on May 7 & 8, 2014 (Agenda attached).

The NEWBuildS research network is entering the final year of its operations, with a lot of the 37 research projects having either been completed or reached the final phase of the research. A vast amount of technical information are being generated that will contribute to design and construction of multi-storey and non-residential buildings. The Workshop has been scheduled in Vancouver to disseminate the research findings to practitioners and researchers.
